What is the minimum opening balance for a Regular Savings account?

A:

There is a minimum of $5.00 to open a Regular Savings account, and you must maintain at least $5 in it while it’s open.

Can the APY change on a Regular Savings account?

Yes, all rates on Regular Savings may change at Interra Credit Union’s discretion.

Will Regular Savings members receive a 1099 at the end of the year reflecting dividends earned?

Yes, if applicable.

What is a Single Service fee?

A:

Single service fee of $10.00 per month is accessed to members who only have a member share savings with an average balance under $250.00 and utilize no other qualified accounts or services. Services that do not qualify include, but may not be limited to, ATM card, e-Statements, Interra Connect, Online or Mobile banking, and safe deposit boxes. Members under age 23 or 62 and older are exempt.
