Interra Sponsors Fall Food Drive

October 15, 2019 - Interra Credit Union is once again holding its annual Fall Food Drive, from October 17-31. Donations of food, personal care items, and monetary gifts will be collected and distributed throughout the five-county area served by the credit union’s 15 offices, reports Karen Steffensen, vice president of community engagement. To get the momentum started, Interra employees have been donating items and monetary gifts.

Credit union members, and others, too, are invited to donate at any Interra office. The three Goshen offices are collecting for the Salvation Army and The Window. Other Interra offices and pantries include: Bremen, Bremen Food Pantry; Elkhart, Church Community Services (Food Bank of N. Indiana); Middlebury, Middlebury Community Food Pantry; Millersburg and New Paris, Fairfield Food Pantry; Nappanee, The Open Door; Plymouth, Marshall County Neighborhood Center; Shipshewana and Topeka, Clothes & Food Basket of LaGrange County; Syracuse, Syracuse Food Pantry; and Wakarusa, Family Christian Development Center.
