Kayla Sweet Joins Interra Credit Union Learning Department

IMMEDIATE RELEASE, September 10, 2024 – Kayla Sweet has been named Assistant Vice President, Manager Learning and Organizational Development, announced Laura A. Miller, Director, Head of Human Resources for Interra Credit Union. In this role, she will lead the development and execution of learning and organizational development programs and initiatives, shape the learning culture through partnership and collaboration with leaders and stakeholders, and support the ongoing enhancement of talent development processes.

Sweet comes to Interra from one of our partners, the Bowen Center, where she served as the Learning and Development Manager. “I spearheaded learning projects, processes, and initiatives across the organization,” she said. “I’m passionate about developing people so they can thrive in their careers, support their teams, and serve their communities, which is exactly what I plan to bring to Interra.”

Sweet graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Indiana University South Bend in 2017 with a minor in Fine Arts. In 2021, she graduated with a Master’s in Consciousness and Transformative Studies from the JFK School of Psychology and Social Sciences at National University. Additionally, Sweet has her SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional) certification.

She lives in Elkhart with her husband and two cats. In her spare time, Sweet enjoys hosting the Internally Guided Life podcast and offering coaching and consulting services in workplace wellbeing.
