Rebecca Mitchell Named CR 17 Branch Manager at Interra Credit Union
February 4, 2025 – Liz Borntrager, Vice President, Senior Manager Retail Delivery, announced that Rebecca Mitchell has been named Assistant Vice President, Manager Retail Branch at Interra's Elkhart County Road 17 branch. Mitchell will provide daily operations, support, and coaching for the retail team. She will also focus on membership growth and community engagement.
Prior to joining Interra, Mitchell spent 15+ years in the RV industry, where she held multiple roles in administration, including managing logistics, leading teams, and serving as a liaison between departments and outside vendors. These experiences helped her develop strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and leadership skills — qualities that she has successfully carried into her current role at Interra.
“I am passionate about building meaningful relationships with our members and being someone, they can trust to help guide them through their financial journey,” said Mitchell. “I am excited about my new role at Interra and continuing to develop these skills while learning more about the financial industry. I am invested in contributing to the success of our members and the organization.”
In addition to her role at Interra, Mitchell is particularly excited about working with the Interra Cares Foundation, which helps support the underbanked and underserved populations. This initiative aligns closely with her passion for giving back to the community.
Mitchell resides in Elkhart, IN, with her husband, Charles. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs, furthering her commitment to creating strong connections at home and in the community.
