Stephanie Weldy Promoted To Residential Mortgage Sales Manager
April 29, 2020 – Stephanie Weldy has been promoted to Residential Mortgage Sales Manager, Ron Cannon, Vice President of Mortgage Lending, announced recently. She will manage the mortgage sales team, and lead in new product and team development strategies.
Weldy has a vast knowledge of the financial services industry. She has been in the industry since 2000 and with Interra Credit Union since 2011. Her previous role with the credit union was a Mortgage Loan Originator, a role that strengthened her knowledge and experience in the mortgage realm. “I love helping people and feel that everyone should be able to own a home,” Weldy said. “I look forward to continuing to work with the Interra membership and our community in this new role.”
“We have a robust mortgage product suite that makes us very competitive in the markets that we cover,” Weldy said on what sets Interra apart. “We are a local lender with local decisions being made.”
Weldy is very active in the community. She is a current member of the Elkhart County Board of Realtors and the Builders Association of Elkhart County. Additionally, she participates in chamber events and is involved in River Oaks Community Church.
Weldy received a Liberal Arts degree from Indiana University South Bend in South Bend, Indiana. She lives in Middlebury with her husband, Ryan, and their children. In her off time, she loves helping her kids with their involvement in the Elkhart County 4-H and raising them on their family farm.
